I have been in the mental health field since 2001 when I started my full-time psychology internship during my senior year at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. As soon as I started, I knew that I had made the best career decision. I went on to obtain my Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University at their satellite campus in Poughkeepsie, NY while working full-time in mental health. Since achieving my Master's Degree, I have worked in four community mental health clinics serving diverse populations. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to gain experience and knowledge through seasoned and supportive mentors, research, in-depth trainings, and life experience. Most importantly, the many clients I have been honored to work with have taught me more than I could have ever imagined. 

My initial step in therapy is to see if we are a good fit. I truly believe that finding a therapist who you feel safe with and supported by is the first goal. I appreciate keeping sessions authentic where we have a two way conversation with support and feedback. Come to me as your true self as I will focus on you as an individual with a unique story.

My overall focus is to help clients work towards success by addressing problems at the root in a safe, nurturing space. It is a reward to see clients leave session with a new approach, perspective, and/or realization. I look forward to working with you!
